Our heater broke in the middle of the night, Perfect Home Services sent out one of the technician next day morning. The technician came out was Rakesh, he was very professional and patience with our questions. He has to travel too couple places to find the parts but he fixed our heater very quickly. Had my AC tune up by Steven Cathers today. He was very polite and did a great job explaining what he checked for and cleaned. He recommended added protection that I did not have for my AC unit. I also had a tune up done on my boiler. Steven noticed that I had exposed coils for my heating in the living room and was able to quote me a price. I have been searching for help with this for quite some time thank you Steve I will be calling for an appointment very soon.

He showed me the maintenance procedures that I should be doing and pointed out some things to pay attention to. Brian M. did an excellent job tackling a difficult drain backup issue I had. He came out the same day of the issue and worked to unclogg it twice. He stayed a while to make sure the issue was fully resolved. Would recommend to anyone with plumbing needs.

Update: Since this post someone did follow up and called me to ask how they could rectify the situation.PHS sent a plumber to check out what I thought could be a leak. He was in my house for half hour. He inspected basically only I asked him to. His almost immediate feedback was that sometimes old houses have these sounds in the pipes. "You probably won't like to hear this but you may just have to get used to it." Seemed odd--my house is 20 years old--and I thought I could get to the source of the sound by having a professional take a look/listen. He said several times "Well, ya know I'd be happy to get out a drywall saw and start "swiss-cheesing" your ceiling but ya know it can be hard to find a leak" He said it's probably just the pipes making noises. Well, it seems he was right--I don't have a leak. The knocking/popping noise wasn't water falling/dripping anywhere. I have determined that it's my hot water heater. Which he NEVER CHECKED and never suggested as the culprit. So, I paid him $50 (thanks to the coupon I had or it would have been $100) to walk around my house and tell me “You’ll just have to live with it". I'll drain the water heater again today, and see if it helps. Otherwise, I will pay a different plumber to replace it eventually. I spoke to a rep today on the phone and relayed all of this info...and he said OK thanks for letting them know, is there anything else I can do for you today. No offer to follow up, or rectify things, or try to keep me as a customer. Not good.

Update: 28 February 2025Brian McGinnis visited us again today to investigate a possible issue with our tankless water heaters. Just like last time, Brian spent time first listening to me explain the history of the issue and steps taken to remedy so far. He then proceeded to explain the possible reasons some of these things may happen and how to address them if they do. Parts are on order, and I’ll only ask for a visit from Brian to install them, given his knowledge and experience with Navien tankless water heaters. On the plumbing side of Perfect Home Services, Brian is top class and very very helpful. Thank you, Brian!Update 10 Jan 2024:As per usual, Perfect Home Services sent someone to help me investigate a gas smell in the utility room of our house. Brian arrived on time, investigated, and provided me with the reasons for the smell and a solution to prevent it going forward. Still always 5 stars. Thank you Perfect Home Services!Update 18 Sep 2023:I recently asked Perfect Home Services to install two tankless water heaters in our home. They sent two seasoned professionals who worked well together, answered all my questions about plumbing (related and unrelated to water heater installation, and laughed at my dumb jokes as well. We have been using Perfect Home Services consistently since 2011 across three different homes and I intend to continue to do so.Perfect Home Services installed and has been servicing our furnace/AC/humidifier for the past 7 years without a single incident. They always arrive when they say they will, do the work they say they will, and the bill is never a surprise. They’ve always been a pleasure to do business with.

Tammer C was wonderful. He came right at the beginning of our visit window, answered all questions, and explained everything. We mentioned smelling gas, and he grabbed a gas meter from his truck and checked all our lines for us to assure there were no gas leaks. He addressed a popping sound in our return and offered a solution and is scheduling a return to fix it. What a pleasure to work with!

All aspects of the job from initial inspection to the work itself was handled very professionally and efficiently. They fixed our Water Heater yesterday and were very prompt and professional, so definitely kudos to that - my biggest gripe is the Labor charge - They told us $850 and eventually got it down to $660 - this was for < 2 hours of work - the parts were already covered by warranty. I personally think this is ridiculous pricing considering the same company installed a brand new water heater in 2021 for us.

I inform them that I was very happy to have TWO technician inspect my 5 year old air conditioner and 16 year old furnace. I would highly recommend both technician. I have used perfect homes for a new HVAC, replacing the water heater plumbing, clearing roots in our sewage line and fix broken water lines. The outdoor unit of our air conditioning system started making loud popping noises. Immediately turned off the A/C and called Perfect Home Services. They sent Lucas to the rescue who quickly diagnosed that a critter seemed to have crawled into the unit. Problem quickly fixed and Lucas even stuffed the access point with steel wool for me and suggested spraying both the unit and steel wool with a 50/50 solution of peppermint oil and water to deter future problems. Thanks Lucas!

Brian McGinnis installed a garbage disposal, changed out two faucets and fixed the water level in a toilet tank. He took care of all these things methodically, quietly and with great care. He was meticulous above all, scraping off all the old adhesive that was left from one of the faucets. We were very happy with the work done and will call Perfect Home Services again when the need arises.
