2024 Rebates

Residents from Chicagoland and surrounding areas can save hundreds and even thousands of dollars using rebates and tax credits offered to homeowners through multiple programs. Below is a summary of the rebates and tax credits you can take advantage of in 2024. Be sure to ask your Perfect Team about these programs and how you can save!

On August 16th, 2022, the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 was passed, naming CEE tiers as the basis for federal tax credits across several product categories through 2032, including:

• Electric or gas heat pump water heaters
• Electric or natural gas heat pumps
• Central air conditioners
• Gas, propane, or oil water heaters
• Gas, propane, or oil furnace boilers

ComED is offering a variety of discounts for Heat Pumps, Air Conditioning units, tune-ups, and more. With account information from your ComEd bill, Perfect Home Services can apply the discount at the time of purchase/service.

Peoples Gas's Home Energy Rebate Program provides residential customers with ways to maximize their energy savings and improve comfort. This program encourages residents to make energy-efficient improvements to their homes and apartment buildings throughout the Chicagoland area.

• Residential Rebates - Owners of single-family homes, two-flats, and individually metered condos and townhomes can receive rebates on a wide range of energy-saving improvements, including upgrades for furnaces, boilers, water heaters, smart thermostats, and insulation and air sealing (weatherization).
• Direct Rebates - Peoples Gas customers have opportunities to reduce energy usage with a FREE assessment that includes free and discounted products installed in their homes, two-flats, or individually metered condos and townhomes.

North Shore's Home Energy Rebate Program provides various rebates on qualifying projects so residents can enjoy energy savings, month after month. This program encourages residents to make energy-efficient improvements to their homes and apartment buildings throughout the Chicagoland area.

• Residential Rebates - Owners of single-family homes, two-flats, and individually metered condos and townhomes can receive rebates on a wide range of energy-saving improvements, including upgrades for furnaces, boilers, water heaters, smart thermostats, and insulation and air sealing (weatherization).
• Direct Rebates - North Shore Gas customers have opportunities to reduce energy usage with a FREE virtual or in-home assessment that includes free and discounted products installed in their homes, two-flats, or individually metered condos and townhomes.

Nicor Gas offers rebates for energy efficiency upgrades, such as equipment or installation, available to all current residential Nicor Gas customers. Also available are free water-saving and weatherization kits so residents can DIY their way to energy savings.
